Two years ago my daughter and I were lucky to attend a recording of two episodes of Gardeners’ Question Time (or GQT for those in the know).

When I told my friends I was going, there were two distinct camps of thought. Those who immediately asked where it was being recorded and if there were still tickets, and those who remained polite, but blatantly didn’t understand the appeal.

When we arrived at the venue, the tension was palpable – I kid you not. Emily, then aged 9 got to ask the final question. It was perhaps the proudest moment of my life.

With the current programme being recorded virtually why not submit your question online, or even better why not apply to be in the virtual audience!!!!
